Vince McMohan is creating a new entertainment company and some WWE Alumni are helping him set up the entire venture. Following his retirement prior to the Janel Grant-related investigation, this is the first time he’s stepped foot into the world of business again.
That said, any company that the individual starts, grows very aggressively, and with the kind of resources that he has at his disposal, it’s unlikely that the new company will remain low-key for a long time. So, could Vince McMohan be looking at creating a new Sports League?

Vince McMahon Reportedly Creating New Entertainment Company With Multiple Former WWE Names Involved

Here’s where the catch lies, sports entertainment is also a part of a television product, and given the amount of expertise that he has in the business and in the world of professional wrestling, it wouldn’t be surprising to see him start off something similar. Although, it’s likely that he won’t launch another professional wrestling company like the WWE, because it’s his own product so to speak, he could target other sports like Baseball or Football. These two sports are extremely popular with the American audience so that’s something he could easily target.

Alternatively, he could stay away from the world of sports completely, and could just focus on films and tv shows. That could have a wider audience base and could reach heights of popularity more than that of his previous sports entertainment company.
Once finalised, the company is expected to be operating out of Los Angeles California, and it’s also believed that Brad Blum, former COO of WWE and Kristen Prouty, former Senior Vice President, Entertainment Relations at WWE will be working at the company alongside Vince McMohan.
It’ll be interesting to see which distributors and networks would want to work with this new company in the beginning, primarily because of the lawsuits that the former WWE chairman is currently involved in.
